SNS iNNovation Hub is an initiative by the SNS Institutions, Coimbatore, to foster start-up by providing a prototyping space immersed in an ambience of Creativity and Design Thinking.

SNS iHub helps to identify Societal/Industrial needs and solve them using a Design Thinking approach, mentored by experts from Academia and Industry.

On 7.11.2022, two Startups namely Techsnapie Solutions and Delauto Solutions was inaugurated was provided with workspace at 325, D Block, SNS College of Engineering, Coimbatore.

The former a software-based Startup who are also providing, Application Development Solutions, UI/UX Designing, and Digital Marketing, and the latter a product and design development of Mechanical components, has been the incubates of SNS Innovation Hub.

The primary focus is developing a Startup ecosystem to all the budding Entrepreneurs. The startup also focuses on providing Internship opportunities for the student member those who are into startup.

Mr.C.L.Mohan Naraayanan, Head-Operations, Dr.R.Sudhakaran, Vice Principal & HOD – Mechanical Engineering and Dr.K.Sangeetha, the Head of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, SNSCT and all the Head of the Departments of SNSCE inaugurated the grand opening.

On August 6, 2022, at SNS College of Engineering, the iNNovation Cafe (iCafe) held its official opening ceremony. Mr. Sumanth Selvarasu, director and chief marketing officer of Buyofuel in Coimbatore and a proud SNS College of Technology alumni, served as the event's chief guest.

There were nearly 30 budding entrepreneurs from iHub who actively participated in the special lecture delivered by the Chief Guest of the event. The primary areas of concentration were the differences between an individual and an entrepreneur.

On December 17, 2021, the Institution's Innovation Council, in collaboration with the Entrepreneurship Development Centre, hosted a workshop on entrepreneurship and innovation as a career option. The principal visitors were Mr. Kartik Bhai Vasan, General Manager and Director, District Industries Centre, Coimbatore, Government of Tamilnadu, and Mr. Solomon Rethina Shalin, Tester- Technical, DIC, Coimbatore, Government of Tamilnadu.

140 students from various disciplines interacted with the guests in a brilliant way. The student team leaders also presented their unique ideas in the areas of education, agriculture, food technology, e-commerce, and cosmetology.
