i-tech labs  (AR /VR, AI, DS, AM)

The ‘iTech Labs ’are an inter-disciplinary research space dedicated for ideating and developing innovative solutions for pressing problems. The iHub team supports incubates with technological access to those who are passionate towards problem solving and commercializing their ideas.

The iHub team works incessantly under the five dedicated innovation labs, viz., AR/VR, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Robotics and Automation and Additive manufacturing.

Skilling facility, serves to contribute significantly towards enabling the youngsters to improve their theoretical as well as practical knowledge. The team iHub ensures utilisation of this facility by the incubates, so that they secure a better proficiency in their domain of expertise.

CENTER OF EXCELLENCE

Drone Technology

It is with great excitement that we announce the unveiling of our Centre of Excellence in Drone Technology at SNS College of Technology. This new programme will provide our students with the latest advancements in drone technology education, offering them a competitive edge in the industry.

It was a momentous occasion as we welcomed Dr B. Vinodh Kumar, General Manager of Codissia Defence Innovation and Atal Incubation Centre, to officially inaugurate our Centre of Excellence in Drone Technology at the SNS Innovation Hub. We deeply appreciate your support in driving our efforts towards indigenization and high-quality defence components.

Electric Vehicle

The Centre of Excellence in Electric Vehicles is now open at SNS College of Technology's Automobile Engineering Department, under the SNS Innovation Hub. Thanks to Mr Aswin Palanisamy, founder of Vinuruk Technologies, for inaugurating the centre.

INTERNET OF THINGS LAB (ANDES TECHNOLOGIES - TAIWAN)

INTERNET OF THINGS LAB is established at SNS College of Engineering under “ANDES TECHNOLOGIES, TAIWAN” in November 2017. Our innovation center has a strong emphasis on connecting with industry and is particularly focused on the areas of tech-enabled services. 

SNS V-ALIENZ PRODUCT DESIGN STUDIO

The Centre for Creativity and Department of Mechanical Engineering jointly promoted a novel initiative “Company on Campus” to foster new product development. The joint venture V- Alienz SNS Product Design Studio was inaugurated with great fanfare on 14−09−18.

BOT LAB

SNS College of Engineering & Automation Anywhere University established Coimbatore’s first Centre-of-Excellence in the field of Robotics Process Automation (BOT Lab) by Department of Computer Science & Engineering and Information Technology on 6/2/2019. Mr. S. Krishna Raju, Manager Business Development, University Alliance at Automation Anywhere, Bangalore unveiled the plaque at CSE & IT Lab.

RPA Professional Training Course 

Department of IT & CSE, jointly organized AAU Certified Essential RPA Professional Training Programme powered by Automation Anywhere University at SNS College of Engineering, Coimbatore from 20th May to 22nd May 2019. 

Mr.Kapil Raina, Product Trainer PRA, Automation Anywhere University was the resource person. He explained the brief introduction about RPA, benefits of RPA, enterprise customers for RPA. Robotic process automation is defined as the implementation of software robots that are configured at the graphic-user-interface level on individual computers, end-user devices, or by work-station—and in turn used to automate routine and repeatable tasks currently conducted by white-collar or knowledge-work employees.
